Community Hall (no longer available)

The Community Hall is Not Available for Hire.

In 2023 Stadhampton Parish Council reviewed and checked the Joint User Agreement regarding the use of the Stadhampton Primary School hall, outside of school hours.

The agreement was set up in February 1976 (amended 1982) and was updated in 2019 when the school transferred to Acer Trust. The Community Hall was successfully run for many years by a  volunteer management committee. However, in recent years the opening of the Village Hall at St John’s Church and the effect of covid-19 dwindled the need of the hall for community use, and the committee was closed in 2020.

The Parish Council undertook a survey to find out whether residents would like to use the Community Hall, and would volunteer to help on a management committee to help make this happen. The overwhelming response was negative, because the Village Hall at St John’s meets that need now.

Therefore, although the agreement remains valid, the community hall is no longer in use for private hire for events until such a time as a volunteer management committee is formed to enable the facility to operate.
