Cllrs. Bob Campbell, Stephen Dawson and Stuart Wells will be re-elected as Parish Councillors on Thursday May 2nd without the need for elections.

This will leave three vacancies for the Parish Council to fill at one of the next meetings which will be held on Tuesday May 7th and June 4th at 8pm at the Primary School. Cllrs. Steve Gilligan and Doug Struthers who did not stand for election are eligible to be co-opted and have indicated that they will put themselves forward for co-option on 7th May.

YOUR Parish Council is an important level of democracy where you can represent the interests of the community on a wide variety of issues. These include a wide range of village matters, planning applications, contributing towards strategic policy and managing a local budget (the precept). The Council meets once a month - usually on the first Tuesday.
